Spring 2008 Cherry Blossoms around the Tidal Basin

Arrived around 6:00 am with virtually no traffic and very few people at first.  Plenty of parking near the FDR Memorial.  Setup tripod/camera on the Tidal Basin and starting shooting. There were hundreds of photographers on the Tidal Basin at 6:00 am and by 7:00 am there were thousands of people strolling and taking pictures of the cherry blossoms.
